Harnhill Centre Programme
The Harnhill Centre offers retreats for those seeking personal time and space, healing, personal prayer ministry, practical teaching or simply rest and refreshment.
We offer a range of residential retreats depending upon your spiritual needs, availability, and budget. These include healing retreats – “Journeying into Wholeness” and Seeking Healing weekends, Bereavement, Retiring Well and Discovering my Identity as a Child of God. Alongside these we offer Personal Retreats, Rest and Refreshment and Led weekend retreats which this year include ‘The Waiting Room, led by Reverend Kate Picot, ‘The Father’s Heart’, led by Alison Goddard, and a Creative Art Weekend. Please look at the links for the 2024 and 2025 programme for brief details about the different kinds of retreat to help you make a decision about coming.
All retreat prices are full-board. We offer a set menu with all food prepared on-site using fresh ingredients overseen by our Head Chef. Breakfast is usually served to guests in their rooms to enable a more relaxed start to their morning, with selections made from our breakfast menu. Lunch and supper are served in our dining rooms and there is a ‘quiet table’ available for those who would prefer silence at mealtimes.
The chef team will cater for a range of diets including vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, gluten free and diary free. More complex needs can be discussed with the Bookings Office and may incur an extra charge.
We look forward to welcoming you.
What is Spiritual Accompaniment?
Spiritual accompaniment is the opportunity to meet with one of the team for a 45 minute appointment. The focus of this time is to reflect on how God is at work in your life and to help you listen to the Lord during your stay at the Centre.
It is a time of sharing and reflecting and although may finish with a closing prayer, is not prayer ministry. If you are facing a challenging life issue or experiencing difficult emotions, we would encourage you to book a prayer ministry appointment.
What is Prayer Ministry?
Prayer ministry is the opportunity to meet with two members of our prayer team to share the deeper issues of life, whether in the past or the present, which are causing difficult emotions or ongoing challenges for you.
The team will listen to you and to the Lord and then will pray into the areas you feel are important or where the Lord may be highlighting.
